The Apple’s event “Hello Again” announcement was especially about MacBook Pro 2016, it been a long time since we have not seen a meaning full changing in the MacBook design. But today Apple making a great changing by adding some great features and fundamentally redesigned MacBook Pro. The new MacBook Pro comes with four Thunderbolt 3 ports which have been swapped from the previous model with HDMI port, USB ports, power port and Apple headphones. These new port can serve the same purposes.

As Apple has been already focusing on removing the headphone jack from the new iPhones and MacBook, in that announcement the competitor Google Pixel highlighted about this decision that the headphone jack is a key feature in the Pixel. About this announcement lots of people were desperate when Apple removed the headphone jack from its new iPhone, the iPhone 7 and some others are happy by its replacement with EarPods.

Apple Headphones Jack Remains in the New MacBook Pro

Thankfully, Apple revealed about new MacBook Pro that it retains the old 3.5 mm headphone jack, and it was surprising to see the headphone jack remain on the new MacBook Pro. Introducing revamped MacBook Pro with Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports is making sense with headphone jack because still there is no audio spec for USB-C yet.

Here are some questions that raise after removing USB ports with USB-V port is that how you will upload photos from a digital camera or phone to your new MacBook Pro.

The port conversion still be available, but here the cost is matter, the cost of USB-C port is higher than the lightning to 3.5mm analog audio. Apple is selling the conversion port from USB-C to lightning cable for $29.

These are pro machines if we don’t see any headphone jack then there will be wireless AirPods which is a great solution but every new technology has some flaws because some of the users have setups with amps, studio monitors, and other pros audio system that is unable to do with wireless connection it requires a 3.5mm audio jack.
